As an Associate Payroll Analyst, you’ll join our Payroll Operations team and become a trusted partner to the clients we serve. This is a hybrid role, based out of our Ann Arbor, MI office (48108) - giving you the flexibility to split your time between working in the office and from home after training. You don’t need payroll experience - just great attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a genuine desire to help people. We’ll teach you everything else.

About the Team You’ll Join

Our Payroll Operations team is the heart of myPay Solutions. We’re a group of friendly, dedicated professionals who care deeply about getting payroll right for our clients. Every member of the team plays a key role - from onboarding new customers to processing payroll, solving problems, and delivering top-tier support.

We’re collaborative, supportive, and always ready to help each other grow. We’ll set you up for success from day one with structured onboarding, thorough training, and ongoing support - all in a hybrid work environment.

What You’ll Be Doing – Day to Day

You'll begin with hands-on training to help you understand our systems, processes, and client needs. Once you're up to speed, your day-to-day will include:

  • Onboarding New Clients
  • Help small business clients get started with myPay Solutions. You'll collect payroll details, enter information into our system, and make sure everything is set up correctly before their first payroll run.
  • Managing Payroll Data
  • Input and manage employee details, hours worked, benefit deductions, taxes, and direct deposits - all to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • Client Communication
  • Be a helpful, reliable point of contact for clients. You’ll answer payroll-related questions, explain processes, and troubleshoot issues via phone and email.
  • Maintaining Payroll Accuracy
  • Track updates to employee records, tax changes, or company policies and ensure client data stays current and correct.
  • Learning & Growing
  • Attend regular training sessions and team meetings to build your knowledge and confidence as a payroll professional.
